Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Adults Experiencing Opioid Addiction Now Offered at the Trenton Campus
Catholic Charities Behavioral Health Services, in response to the diverse needs of individuals seeking addiction recovery treatment, has recently expanded its treatment services. In addition to Ambulatory Detox for adults experiencing opioid addiction, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is now offered at the Trenton Campus. Both types of treatment include the use of medication in conjunction with counseling and support services; however, the treatment process for MAT differs from detox. The addition of MAT for opioid addiction provides a recovery alternative for those who may benefit from a more gradual treatment process.
