Extreme Makeover of Shuttered School Creates Affordable Housing

Catholic Charities’ Jean Furdella and Maureen Fahey participated in a Hard Hat Tour of The Duffy School, renovated into apartments for those ages 62+ in Florence NJ. Five units will be occupied by our consumers. Maureen Fahey worked closely with the developers, Conifer and MENDS – and they anticipate a June move-in date.
