A Catholic Charities mental health program that serves people with serious mental illness will relocate this summer into a bigger, more modern space in Hamilton.

The Program for Assertive Community Treatment’s Team 1 (pictured, right) will relocate to the Ibis Plaza office complex at 3525 Quakerbridge Road (Suite 908-909), starting July 1, said Crystal Smith, director of Catholic Charities’ four PACT teams in Mercer and Burlington County.

The program now serves 75 clients at an office beside First Bank on Parkway Avenue in Ewing, where it’s been for 14 years.

“We’ll continue to provide the same level of services, just from a much nicer location,” Smith said.

Catholic Charities has four PACT teams – three in Mercer County, and a fourth in Burlington County. Altogether, they serve 370 people, Smith said.

PACT teams work to ensure people with persistent, serious mental illness who have a history of psychiatric hospitalization can live independently in the community.
