Bishop David M. O’Connell Named Honorary Chair of the 2015 Walk of Hope
The Most Reverend David M. O’Connell, Bishop of the Trenton Diocese will serve as Honorary Chair of the 2015 Walk of Hope. “We are grateful for Bishop O’Connell’s support and excited to walk alongside so many of our friends at this community event,” said Marlene Laó-Collins, Catholic Charities executive director. “We encourage everyone living in our four counties to gather family members, friends and coworkers to join us at the March 28th Walk of Hope supporting services to Reduce Poverty, Promote Recovery and Strengthen Families in the Diocese of Trenton.”
Catholic Charities’ Walk of Hope will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Mercer County Park in West Windsor. Form a team, get sponsors and join others to walk together to reduce poverty, promote recovery and strengthen families throughout Central New Jersey where Catholic Charities provides domestic violence services, counseling, help with basic needs and addiction treatment.
LOCATION: Mercer County Park, 1638 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor, NJ
COURSE LENGTH: 3.2 miles (with optional 1- and 2-mile walks)
SCHEDULE: 9 to 10 AM — Check-in and t-shirt pick-up; 10 AM to Noon — Walk of Hope

Nearly 400 walkers gathered at last year’s Walk of Hope and the Walk’s organizers are hoping to have even more join this years’ event!
