Troy Singleton and Mary PettrowAs we begin Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Catholic Charities would like to recognize Assemblyman Troy Singleton for his continued support of “Lisa’s Law” – a pilot program that would track certain domestic violence offenders using GPS devices.

Yesterday, our own Mary Pettrow, Associate Director of Providence House Domestic Violence Services, stood alongside Assemblyman Singleton as he once again introduced the law back in for consideration.

Watch a video from yesterday’s press conference to learn more about the fight to get this important law passed and hear Mary speak on behalf of the children who have benefited from our services.
