Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton employees recognize the Information Technology Department as a Center of Excellence because they protect the organization from cyber threats, provide innovative solutions for our data needs and keep us connected. Now, those outside the organization know this! Daren Choy, the IT Network Administrator for Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton was selected by the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies (NJAMHAA) as the 2017 IT Hero for providing outstanding service and helping the IT Department achieve a 98 percent customer service rating. NJAMHAA is a professional association comprised of provider organizations throughout the state and Daren Choy was selected from among a large pool of his peers. According to June Noto, Vice President of Information Technology, Human Resources and Administrative Services for NJAMHAA, “Daren is a true IT leader and a team player who is always upbeat and optimistic.” Elizabeth Luciano, Catholic Charities’ Director of Information Management said, “He is a perfectionist at heart and will dedicate days, evenings and weekends to make sure our systems are up and running as efficiently and effectively as possible. Daren also spends many of his personal hours experimenting with new technologies that resulted in cost savings for the agency. He is an everyday hero to us!”
